Immaculate Virgin Mary & Cherubs - Color

This Immaculate Virgin was created by Jakob Christoph Schletterer around 1754. Schletterer mostly made altar sculptures and reliefs for monastic churches in Lower Austria. This masterpiece was the oeuvre of Schletterer, was influenced by Lorenzo Mattielli and Georg Raphael Donner. This statue is beautifully designed, sculpted and handcrafted to the finest detail in holystone color finish.
