Summer Slide: LaAmistad Book Drive Fundraiser

LaAmistad Summer Book Drive

One example of this fundraiser in action is the LaAmistad Afterschool Program at the Cathedral of St. Philip.  This program currently serves 24 students and provides opportunities for language and reading skill development.  The goal of this book drive is to receive 120 donated books so that each child may choose five books of their very own to encourage continued reading over the summer.
