Medal St Sebastian 1" Oval Sterling 24" Rhodium/Stainless Chain

1 x 5/8 inch satin and antique finish sterling silver St. Sebastian oval medal on a 24 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Sebastian on the front, who is shown tied to a tree, as he was a martyr was was killed by being shot with arrows. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Sebastian Pray For Us". The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes an elegant deluxe velour jewelry box.

Saint Sebastian was an early saint and martyr who was killed during the Roman emperor Diocletian's persecution of Christians. He is the Patron Saint of athletes because of his physical endurance and his energetic way of spreading and defending the faith.
